What can I bring on my picnic at Random Harvest Nursery?

There is little you need to bring as we have thought of it all (well most things), but here are some things to make this a truly superb picnic to remember:

  • A comfortable chair - if you find it difficult to sit on the floor or would prefer your own comfortable folding chair, please bring one with you. We do have benches and some upright chairs should you forget your own.
  • Sunscreen is always a good idea, particularly when out at a picnic spot in Muldersdrift on a sunny day.
  • Binoculars in case you want to bird watch while picnicking. The extensive variety of indigenous flowering plants in the gardens and on the farm offer great bird watching opportunities for those who enjoy this popular recreational outdoor activity. When the Aloes are blooming (mostly in autumn and winter) in the garden, the sunbirds put on quite a show.
