Coleus neochilus (=Plectranthus neochilus) is a fairly hardy, evergreen, mounding small shrub with attractive, grey-green, succulent leaves that smell pungent when bruised.
The beautiful deep blue to purple flowers are borne on a terminal inflorescence of lobster-like flowers from September to April.
It is very drought resistant and can be planted in sun or semi-shade. A particularly good subject for Loffelstein walls.
It is said to be an air purifier.
