Description

This beautiful, bulbous plant flowers before the leaves appear which is called hysteranthy. It has a globose or oval bulb that bears large clusters of flowers, with various shades of pink, from February to April, that have a strong scent of narcissus and are trumpet-shaped that are carried on a purplish-green stem. 

The leaves that follows are erect, narrow, channelled and remain green throughout the winter.

The flowers face the way it gets the most sun and these flowers are ideal for rockeries as they naturally grow in dense groups between rocks.
