Euphorbia pulvinata is a very hardy flat succulent plant that forms compact cushion-like mounds of stout, angled stems with spines on the ridges. The leaves are barely noticeable as the green stems take on the process of photosynthesis.
It bears yellow flowers in spring and summer that attract a whole host of insects.
Plant in a rockery, succulent bed or container. Plant in well-drained soil in full sun and although it is a succulent, water once every 7 to 10 days in summer.
