Rhoicissus sekhukhuniensis is a rare, recently discovered plant is endemic to Sekhukhuneland (it is the only area in the world it is found).It is a hardy and fairly slow growing scrambling shrub or climber. Its most exceptional feature is the beautiful, large leaves that are at most variously coloured from Grey to Bronze with growing tips that are a delicate pink. The inconspicuous yellow-green flowers are are borne in early summer. The flowers and fruit attract many insects, moths and birds.
It is beautiful when it drapes itself over rocks. It also makes an attractive container plant. This drought hardy plant grows best in compost rich soil in semi-shade.
