The Random Harvest Bed and Breakfast, located in Muldersdrift is the perfect accommodation for those wanting to explore one of South Africa’s most popular arts and craft routes.
Over the years, the Muldersdrift area has developed quite a reputation for being an arts and cultural hub with a number of galleries, art markets and home craft industries found in the area, to name a few:
Additionally, Random Harvest has one of its very own artists, Heather Balcomb, who has illustrated for Random Harvest for the past 16 years.
Random Harvest Bed and Breakfast and Indigenous Nursery will be hosting an art exhibition by Heather, from the 1 November to the 30 December 2016. The exhibition will be open daily, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The exhibition will be Heather’s first solo exhibition.
Traditionally working in water colour, aquarelle pencil crayon and pen and ink on small scale illustrations, this exhibition includes a range of her works in various media. Her subject matter for this exhibition celebrates a response to the natural things that surround one, both wild and cultivated.
Random Harvest has a number of delightfully decorated cottages available. Each cottage is serviced daily with fresh milk, cream and butter from our dairy herd, homemade rusks, filter coffee, tea and sugar.

We offer 24-hour security, allowing you to enjoy evening walks around the farm or an evening out in your garden. We also offer a late night security escort by one of our security team from the gate to your cottage.
